Installation of special accessories

Glue
The sealing paste of Baike of certified polycarbonate material is sealed with a neutral alcohol type. Effectively protect the service life of the board.

Aluminum profile
Baike certified polycarbonate material layering, using high-quality aluminum alloy, effectively protect the life of the plate.

Rubber strip
The sealing strip of Baike of certified polycarbonate material is selected for neutral dealcoholization seal, which can effectively protect the board.

Screw
The welding nails of Baike of certified polycarbonate material are made of high-quality stainless steel. Can effectively protect the service life of the board.

Preparation before installation

Wet installation system

When possible, paper storage is recommended to be kept flat and ideally stored indoors. External storage needs to cover pallets to resist weather elements

We recommend that the roof spacing be at least 5° to allow rainwater runoff. This has the added benefit of maintaining the integrity of the seal, and rainwater naturally cleans the glass windows. The selected support structure must be non-warped, that is, laminated wood beams or metal support structures with longitudinal rafters on which glass strips are installed.

Install the base part of the glass strip to the rafter. The edges of the glass strip are sealed on the rafters and plates.

The sheet width (B) is calculated as the sum of the rafter pitch, glass strip size and sheet expansion allowance. (Polycarbonate 1/30"/ft)

※Note: Please use Beike certified special accessories for construction to ensure the quality of the project and the service life of the board and protect the interests of users.

The paper length (L) is defined as:
E=span
A=sheet edge joint
S= Allow expansion
DeltaL represents the length of paper available for sale

Calculation example:
Paper size: 4'x8' Expected high temperature: 100° F
Expected low temperature: -10° F Temperature difference: deltaT. 110° F
Width expansion: a. delta T. W = 0.0000375x 110° Fx48" =0.198"
Extended length: a. , Delta T. L= 0.0000375x 110° Fx96" =0.396"

Cutting work

After completing all manufacturing work and installation, the mark size on the mask should not be removed. Use a traditional circular saw equipped with a carbide knife and blade to cut the plate.

Due to the cutting, plastic debris and dust collected in the passage can be blown out with compressed air or removed by shop air

In the case of trimming the sheet, cut it close to the next rib to ensure a rigid clamping profile

Often corner cuts are required (for example, for ducts, ventilation, etc.). Use a jig saw (no pendulum stroke). Twist drill (point angle φ110°130°) taper or step drill can be used for drilling.

There is a possibility of condensation in the channel, but it can be controlled by sealing the top edge of the plate and covering the bottom with a material that allows air to flow through. As the air flows through the channels, the condensation that forms may dry out and form a barrier to dust, dirt, and bed bugs.
